The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between June 23-29  according to information provided by Brentwood Police Department.

Assault

  • 6/25 – Lone Tree Way: VIC’s were approached by 2 unknown RES’ who suspected them of looking into their home. A fight ensued and one of the RES’ struck VIC-1 with a bat on the face. RES’ fled the scene prior to PD arrival. VIC’s did not sustain injuries and refused medical treatment from AMR. VIC’s did not desire prose…
  • 6/28 – Brentwood Blvd: Unknown RES threw a soda at VIC through the drive thru window. No injuries.
  • 6/29 – McClarren Rd.: RES punched VIC in the face with her fist. VIC had swellling and bruising to left eye. UTL the RES.

Auto Theft

  • 6/23 – Monroe Ct.: VEH-1 stolen from residence and entered into SVS. VEH-2 was broken into and had items stolen.
  • 6/25 – Cortona way: RES stole VIC’s trailer from the street.
  • 6/25 – Sycamore Ave: Vic vehicle was stolen from the parking lot
  • 6/25 – Oak St.: Vehicle was stolen from the rear lot of the post office and recovered a short time later on Wild Iris a short distance away. Entered/removed from SVS.
  • 6/25 – Brentwood Blvd: RES failed to return rented vehicle. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 6/28 – Shady Willow Ln: VIC left keys in parked vehicle over night. VIC discovered car stolen this morning.

Burglary – Auto

  • 6/23 – Sand Creek Rd: RES shattered VIC’s window overnight and stole landscaping equipment.
  • 6/24 – Finn way: RES- stole miscellaneous electronic items from VIC’s locked vehicle. Total loss approximately $240.

Burglary – Business

  • 6/23 – Balfour Rd:Arcade machines broken into. Loss/damage estimated at $550.
  • 6/26 – Sand Creek Rd: RP stated two RES’s entered business and stole various items and then fled on foot. Total estimated loss $1,375.00.

Burglary – Other

  • 6/25 – American Ave:RP stated RES(s) broke into equipment shed and took leaf blower and chain saw. Total estimated loss $650.00.

DUI

  • V-1 collided with center median and rolled over. P-1 (ARR) was DUI and transported to JMMC Walnut Creek by AMR and released on a PTA.

Fraud

  • 6/24 – Lone Tree Way: VIC cashed two checks given to her by a subject who identified himself as SUS and gave the subject the money. The checks were returned with insufficient funds. Loss: $16,400

Grand Theft

  • 6/23 – Wickson Way:Victim’s sterling silver set stolen from her residence.
  • 6/26 – Benoni Ln: VIC reported RES transferred money out of his bank accounts without his permission.
  • 6/26 – Sand Creek: RES stole numerous bras from business and fled in VEH. Total value of merchandise is $4,500.
  • 6/27 – Longleaf Ct.: VEH left unlocked; iPads, laptop and miscellaneous clothes taken from VEH. Occurred 6/20 – 6/21; 2000-0800hrs

Hit & Run

  • 6/23 – Brentwood Blvd:P-1 collided with V-2 and fled scene without exchanging information as required by law.
  • 6/28 – Garin PW: ARR was operating a motor vehicle when he struck a street sign and fled the scene. ARR was later contacted at his residence and placed under arrest. ARR released on a PTA.

Narcotics/Drugs

  • 6/26 – Orchard Dr:ARR was stopped for having four outstanding warrants. As officers were attempting to place handcuffs on ARR, he attempted to flee on foot. ARR also discarded a black cotton sock that contained suspected Methamphetamine, Methamphetamine pipe and 8 Norco pills. ARR to MDF.

Other Violations

  • 6/26 – Corniglia Ln: ARR contacted at residence in regards to outstanding warrant. ARR resisted arrest and later found to be in possession of glass smoking pipe. ARR to MDF.

 

Petty Theft

  • 6/23 – Second St: Res stole Beer and fled
  • 6/23 – Villa Tr: Items taken from unlocked vehicle. Occurred 06/22/14 2200 – 06/23/14 1000. Loss $55.
  • 6/23 – Lone Tree Way: Victims wallet stolen from her purse
  • 6/24 – New Holland Dr: VIC vehicle was found to be open with items missing. Occurred 06/23/14 2000 – 06/24/14 0900. Loss valued at $785.
  • 6/25 – Majestic Ln: RES stole VIC’s catalytic converter overnight.
  • 6/25 –Crocket Ct.: Items stolen from VIC’s unlocked vehicle. Occ’d evening hours of 6/24/2014.
  • 6/26 – Lynn Dr.: VEH left unlocked; sunglasses, reading glasses and CDs taken. Occurred between approximately 6/25/14 2000 hours and 6/26/14 0730 hours.
  • 6/26 – Mint Dr.: VIC two vehicle’s were left unlocked. Both vehicles were rummaged through. RES stole a pair of sunglasses valued at $75.00. Occurred on 06/26/14 from 0130-0700 hours.
  • 6/27 – Orange Ct.: RES entered VIC’s unlocked vehicle and stole wallet and other items.
  • 6/27 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was caught shoplifting $61.30 worth of store goods. ARR had prior theft convictions and was transported to MDF.
  • 6/27 – Sand Creek Rd.: RES stole $103.96 worth of items from store. RP was able to recover the items from the RES in the parking lot. RES fled prior to officer arrival.
  • 6/27 – Brentwood Blvd: Cell phone taken inside Circle K after leaving on the counter in the restroom. Occurred 6/27/14 between approximately 1400 hours and 1430 hours.
  • 6/27 – Lone Tree Way: RES’s stole 5 cases of beer.
  • 6/28 – Second St.: ARR-1 and ARR-2 stole merchandise from Safeway. ARR-1 and ARR-2 released on PTA.
  • 6/28 – Balfour Rd: ARR stole merchandise from Foodmaxx. ARR released on PTA.
  • 6/29 – Flowering Plum: VIC had two pairs of Maui Jim sunglasses, a pink digital camera and set of binoculars stolen from his unlocked vehicles. Theft occurred overnight. Total loss was $550.

Prowler

  • 6/24 –Malibu Ct.: RESs knocked on VIC’s door and then entered her backyard. Nothing stolen. No injuries.

Phone

  • 6/25 – Star Lilly St.: RES called VIC and advised him he needed to pay him money or he would be arrested. RES claimed to be the Chief of Police for Brentwood Police Department.

Restraining Order Violation

  • 6/27 – Boone Dr.: RES contacted VIC and family members in violation of court order.
  • 6/29 – Dainty Ave: RES violated court order by being at VIC residence. VIC saw her at the residence and told RES to leave. RES fled on foot.

Robbery

  • 6/23 – Lone Tree Way: RES brandished a knife and stole items from business.

Stolen Property

  • 6/23 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was contacted and found in possession of VIC’s stolen property. ARR to MDF

Suspicious Circumstance

  • 6/26 – Collis St,: RP reported a suspicious person was seen on his cct security system on multiple occasions looking into vehicles and walking up and down the street.

Warrant

  • 6/24 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted and found to have multiple outstanding arrest warrants for narcotic violations.
  • 6/27 – O’Hara Ave: ARR was contacted during an enforcement stop. ARR was found to have a cite-releasable misdemeanor warrant. ARR was released on a PTA.
  • 6/29 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted and was determined to have a misdemeanor warrant for traffic out of Santa Clara County. ARR released on a PTA.

Weapons Violations

  • 6/23 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR was contacted during a probation search and was found to be a felon in possession of a loaded firearm and in possession of marijuana and PCP for sales. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/29 – Sand Creek Rd: RES was contacted during a medical call where police were needed for a combative subject. RES was found to be a felon in possession of two firearms. RES transported to Kaiser for medical treatment. Case referred to DA.
