The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between June 13-July 3 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Arson

  • 7/1 – Mandevilla Dr: Portable restroom set on fire by unknown RES.

Assault

  • 6/17 – Sand Creek: RES threw two eggs at VIC.
  • 6/17 – Central Blvd: Both parties participated in mutual combat. No injuries.
  • 6/21 – Central Blvd: RESs engaged in an altercation over bathroom use at location. All parties declined prosecution.
  • 6/26 – Lone Oak Rd: Sarah was reported to have been trespassing on Corinne’s property, causing a battery between Corinne and Sarah.
  • 6/26 – Begonia Ct.: RES struck VIC in the face causing VIC to fall and hit her head on the floor. RES fled scene before police arrival.
  • 6/30 – Second St.: VIC was stabbed by SUS during physical altercation. VIC to JMMC.

Auto Recovered

  • 7/2 – Shadowcliff Way: ARR contacted sleeping inside vehicle. ARR had felony warrant in WPS for 496 PC. ARR was in possession of stolen vehicle and possession of suspected methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.

Auto Theft

  • 6/15 – Havenwood Ave: Victim’s blue 1996 Honda Accord taken from parking lot at 55 Havenwood Dr.
  • 6/19 – Teal Ct.: RES took vehicle with out VIC’s permission. Blk/2DR/Acura/Integra/2plate/yellow bumper sticker on front. Est value $2800.
  • 6/19 – Myrtle Beach Dr.: RES stole victim’s vehicle. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 6/19 – Southwood Dr.: RES forced entry into VIC’s vehicle and stole approximately $1370 in tools.
  • 6/21 – Sassafras Dr.: Victim’s vehicle taken from driveway of residence. Green 1996 Honda Accord
  • 6/23 – Dainty Ave: VIC late reported her vehicle was taken without consent. VEH located at scene of a traffic collision and stored per 22651(b).
  • 6/23 – Fruitwood CM: RP reported his black 89 Toyota pickup stolen from his residence on 6/23/16 0500 to 2000. RO has both keys. Truck has fresh black paint and new engine.
  • 6/24 – Walnut Blvd; VIC’s 2003 Hyundai Elantra was stolen.
  • 6/27 – Homecoming Way: Unidentified responsible stole vehicle.
  • 6/30 – Central Blvd: Green 1999 Honda Civic stolen. Vehicle entered into SVS.

Burglary – Other

6/14 – Vineyards Parkway: Responsible cut locks from storage containers on construction site and took tools, wire, and electrical components.

6/28 – Eaglerock Way: RES broke window to business (City Center Pharmacy), entered, stole various medications, and fled.

Burglary – Residential

  • 6/13 – Rossano St.: VIC’s house was broken into between 0630 hours and 0830 hours. Laptop was taken from the residence.
  • 6/17 – Balfour Rd: RES forced entry into VIC’S detached garage and stole VIC’S property.
  • 6/22 – Shady Willow Lane: An unidentified responsible pryed entered VIC’s residence and took a black Dell laptop and Magic playing cards.
  • 6/26 – Randy Way: VIC’s alarm went off last night while he was away. When he returned home he discovered his lap top missing.
  • 7/1 – Giotto Dr: RES pried side garage door open and activated alarm. Does not appear entry was made or anything taken from residence.

Burglary – Theft from Auto

  • 6/18 – Sand Creek Rd: Unknown RES smashed VIC’s vehicle window and stole a digital camera.
  • 6/22 – Shady Willow Lane: Unidentified responsible entered locked vehicle by forcing entry through the sunroof. Occurred 6/22/16 at approximately 0450 hours. Three charging cords taken.
  • 6/22 – Shady Willow Lane: Registration and vehicle title taken from inside glove box.
  • 6/23 – Lone Tree Way: Unknown RES smashed VIC’s vehicle window and stole her purse.
  • 6/28 – Paprika Dr.: RES entered VIC vehicle overnight by cutting convertible roof and stole a laptop.
  • 7/1 – Shasta Daisy Dr.: RES broke VIC’s vehicles front right window and removed a Discover credit card.
  • 7/1 – Sand Creek Rd: RES shattered VIC’s vehicle window and stole her purse. Loss is approximately $260.
  • 7/2 – Griffith Lane: RES smashed passenger side window to VIC’s locked vehicle and stole insurance/ registration cards.

Checks

  • 6/27 – Balfour: CITE stopped for VC violation, and found to be driving on an expired license. During an inventory search, a fraudulent check was located as well as paraphernalia. ARR to MDF, VEH stored.

Drunk

  • 6/17 – Broderick Dr.: ARR was intoxicated in public and causing a disturbance. ARR taken to MDF.
  • 6/18 – Oak St.: ARR was unable to care for himself due to his intoxication level. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/24 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted and found to be intoxicated and unable to care for self. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/24 – Oak St.: ARR was intoxicated in public and unable to care for himself. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/29 – Second St.: ARR contacted and determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself. ARR resisted arrest. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/2 – Chestnut St.: ARR was to intoxicated to care for himself. ARR to MDF.

DUI

  • 6/28 – Balfour: ARR stopped for CVC violations and found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and marijuana. ARR to MDF
  • 6/30 – Empire Ave: ARR was contacted after a solo vehicle collision. ARR was determined to be DUI. ARR to MDF. (0.155% BAC)
  • 7/2 – Chestnut St.: ARR stopped for VC violations. ARR found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/3 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was stopped for a CVC violation and found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/3 – Balfour: ARR stopped for VC violations. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.

Fraud/Credit Card/ATM

  • 6/14 – Villa Tr.: VIC purchased iTunes gift cards and provided the information over the phone to a subject claiming to be an IRS employee. Loss: $2,500.00.
  • 6/15 – Garin Parkway: ARR contacted at location and found to be under the influence of a controlled substance, in possession of suspected heroin, in possession of personal identifying
    information of others and in possession of suspected stolen property. ARR to MDF. Vehicle stored. Case under investigation.
  • 6/17 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted possible theft in progress. ARR found to be in possession of multiple VIC’s identification information. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/25 – Second St.: ARR was contacted for fraudulently trying to access VIC’s bank account. ARR fled from Officers and was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit. ARR was found to be in
    possession of stolen property, methamphetamine, and counterfeit documents. ARR to MDF.

Grand Theft

  • 6/13 – Balfour: ARR1 and ARR2 left store with various items without paying. ARR1 and ARR2 were transported to MDF. Total stolen and recovered $3475.73.
  • 6/13 – Minnesota Ave: Tools taken from unlocked tool box on the bed of a truck.
  • 6/15 – Sand Creek: SUS’s took three cell phones from business valued at approx. $2,200.00 and fled on foot.
  • 6/18 – Brentwood Blvd: RES entered unlocked storage unit and stole approx. $3600 in items
  • 6/24 – Snapdragon Ct.: VIC said his 14′ aluminum boat was stolen.
  • 6/30 – Griffith lane: VIC stated unknown RES took $1100 cash from her wallet without her permission.
  • 6/30 – RES stole money and jewelry from residence while moving. Total loss $9,000.

H&S Violation

  • 6/14 – Balfour: ARR was contacted and found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine, two glass pipes and was under the influence of a CNS. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/18 – Balfour: ARR contacted as a passenger in recovered stolen vehicle out of Pittsburg. ARR found to be under the influence of CNS stimulant. ARR to MDF.

Narcotic Drug Law Violations

  • 6/16 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was in possession of suspected methamphetamine. ARR released on promise to appear.
  • 6/17 –Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted and found to be in possession of 2 grams of methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/17 – Lone Tree Way: ARR, INV-1, INV-2, and INV-3 contacted during a suspicious vehicle stop. ARR found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine. ARR released on a
    signed PTA.
  • 6/19 – Second St.; ARR was stopped for a CVC violation and found to have a no bail warrant from Pleasanton PD. ARR to MDF. Once at MDF, ARR was found to be in possession of methamphetamine in his underwear.
  • 6/23 – Oak St.: ARR contacted after consensual encounter and found to be on probation for narcotic related offenses. ARR found to be in possession of controlled substance. ARR to MDF.

  • 6/18 – Oak St.: After being combative toward another customer at 311 Oak Street Pub, ARR attempted to evade officers on foot but was subsequently apprehended. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/3 – Hanson Lane: RES recklessly caused fire to land and VIC’s property. Click for more info

Petty Theft

  • 6/14 – Balfour: ARR contacted with stolen property, later determined to have been stolen from Safeway. ARR released on PTA.
  • 6/15 – McClarren Rd: Trek mountain bike taken on 6/13/16 between approximately 0400 hours and 0430 hours.
  • 6/15 – Sand Creek Rd: RES stole several pair of shoes and fled in a new brown Kia with no license plates.
  • 6/15 – Sand Creek Rd: RES stole a pair of Gucci sunglasses.
  • 6/15 – Sand Creek Rd: RES stole makeup from the victim business and fled on foot. WIT later retrieved makeup, however RES was able to get away.
  • 6/17 – Balfour: RES stole front tire off bicycle.
  • 6/17 – Sand Creek Rd: Two unknown RES entered store and stole unknown amount of merchandise.
  • 6/21 – Balfour: Responsible(s) took $20 and prescription medication from victim’s unlocked vehicle.
  • 6/22 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR1 and ARR2 were contacted after Streets of Brentwood security reported they had stolen from multiple stores. ARR1 and ARR2 were subsequently cited and released to family members.
  • 6/23 – Lone Tree Way: Unknown RES stole merchandise. Total loss approximately $495.
  • 6/23 – Sand Creek Rd: RES stole VIC wallet from her purse while she was shopping and fled the store. RES used credit cards at multiple locations in Brentwood and Antioch prior to cards being
    deactivated.
  • 6/23 – Lone Tree Way: RES stole VIC’s cell phone from business.
  • 6/23 – Villa Tr: VIC iPhone 6s (Rose Gold) was stolen from unlocked locker. Loss is approximately $600.
  • 6/24 – Sand Creek Rd: Unknown RES left stole merchandise from store. Total loss approximately $52.
  • 6/24 – Second St.: RES stole an electric toothbrush from VIC. RES was gone on arrival. Total loss $199.00
  • 6/24 – Balfour Rd: RES attempted to leave store without paying for items, but was stopped by employees. RES then fled the scene.
  • 6/25 – Balfour: ARR contacted and found to be in possession of stolen property from Safeway. ARR was also under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/25 – Sand Creek Rd: Unknown RES stole one pair of shoes valued at $54.95.
  • 6/25 – Sand Creek: RES left store with two pairs of shoes without paying.
    6/27 – Lone Tree Way: RES took shoes and clothing items from business without paying. RES fled in the INV vehicle.
  • 6/29 – Bluemen Ave: RES stole $200-$300 cash from VIC while packing the residence for moving.
  • 6/29 – Piva Ct.: VIC reported property missing from her residence while she was away. VIC suspects the RES is a friend of her son’s. Estimated loss valued at $880.
  • 7/1 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR in possession of stolen property. ARR on probation for possession of stolen property. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/2 – Sand Creek: ARR took perfume from Ulta and was placed under citizen’s arrest. ARR was also on felony probation.
  • 7/3 – Sand Creek: SUS-1 stole pairs of sunglasses, while SUS-2 used fraudulent information to open storecredit.

Possession of Stolen Property

  • 6/21 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violations. ARR found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and stolen property. ARR released on NTA.

Robbery

  • 6/15 – Balfour Rd: VIC (Manager) confronted SUS #1 and #2 about stealing items. SUS #2 punched VIC and both SUS’S fled the area on foot.
  • 6/24 – Second St.: ARR assaulted VIC and stole VIC’s cell phone and blue tooth speaker. ARR was located
    and was in possession of the VIC’s belongings. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/27 – Lone Tree Way: RES entered business, held VIC at gunpoint, and demanded cash from the registers. RES fled the scene taking $393.
  • 6/29 – Second St.: Unknown RES grabbed VIC and threw her to the ground in an attempt to steal her cell phone. RES fled on foot. No property taken.

 

Threats

  • 6/16 – Broderick Dr.: ARR made comments to kill VIC.
  • 6/23 – Claremont Dr: VIC was threatened by RES during confrontation in the park.

Trespassing

  • 6/25 – Persimmon Dr.: RP found ARR trespassing asleep in house for sale.

Vandalism

  • 6/13 – Presido Dr.: RES threw a raw egg on VIC’s walkway in front of their residence.
  • 6/16 – Foothill Dr: Vics driver side vehicle window shattered and a river rock located on drivers seat. Estimated damage at $250.
  • 6/17 – Second St.: Unknown RES scratched paint of VIC’s vehicle
  • 6/17 – Lone Tree Way: Unknown RES vandalized all four tires on VIC’s vehicle. Total loss approximately $400.
  • 6/19: Cathedral Cl: RES caused damage to VIC’s rollup garage door
  • 6/19 – Carlton Way: UNK RES vandalized VIC’s VEH via scrapes to paint.
  • 6/22 – Fourth St.: An unidentified individual damaged a vending machine by prying on it.
  • 6/23 – Sand Creek Rd: RES vandalized VIC’s house. VIC signed CA
  • 6/24 – Meadowgate: Unknown juvenile males egged three vehicles two nights in a row. Responsible vehicles are a white four door Mercedes Benz and a gold or silver Honda CRV.
  • 6/26 – Homecoming Way: The driver’s side window to RP’s work van was broken.
  • 6/26 – Dupre Way: SUS is suspected of vandalizing $10,000 worth of VIC’s property.
  • 6/26 – Creek Rd: ARR contacted while spray painting the parking lot at Creek Road and Concord Ave. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 6/27 – Claremont Dr.: RES spray painted graffiti on the concrete creek bed. Public Works notified for cleanup.
  • 6/27 – Bridgewater: RES cut electrical wiring in two homes under construction over the weekend.
  • 7/1 – Central Blvd: RES broke window on VEH. Nothing appeared missing.
  • 7/2 – Sand Creek Rd: Unknown RES damaged VIC’s vehicle key hole while parked in the AMC theater parking lot.Vehicle Code Violations
  • 6/16 – Sand Creek Rd: RES was driving a stolen vehicle and fled from BPD when a traffic stop was attempted. The pursuit was terminated due to RES’ dangerous driving behavior.
  • 6/23 – Europena Dr: ARR failed to yield for a traffic enforcement stop. Once stopped, ARR refused to exit the vehicle. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/24 – Griffith Lane: ARR led officers on a short vehicle pursuit, however it was terminated due to safety reasons. ARR was later contacted at his residence and taken into custody. ARR to MDF.

Warrant Arrest

  • 6/14 – Brampton Pl: ARR contacted regarding an outstanding Felony Fraud warrant out of SF County. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/15 – Dainty Ave: ARR was contacted for a follow up investigation and found to have a misdemeanor no bail warrant. ARR was transported to MDF for booking.
  • 6/18 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was contacted and found to had a warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/19 – Bypass Highway: ARR vehicle stopped for a CVC violation. ARR was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Tuolumne County for hit and run. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 6/19 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted and found to have citable misdemeanor warrant in JAWS. ARR released on PTA.
  • 6/21 – Cathedral Cl: ARR was stopped for a VC violation. ARR was determined to have a warrant for her arrest and was released on a PTA.
  • 6/22 – Mendota St.: ARR found to have cite released warrant. ARR released on PTA.
  • 6/25 – Lynn Dr: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were contacted and found to have outstanding warrants for their arrests. ARR-1 to MDF. ARR-2 released on a PTA.
  • 6/25 – Brentwood Blvd: INV-1 stopped for VC violations. INV-2 and ARR contacted as passengers. ARR found to have an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for traffic violations out of San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/25 – Lynn Dr.: ARR contacted and found to have a felony no bail warrant for 29800(a)(1) PC. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/27 – Central Blvd: ARR and involved parties contacted during a curfew violation. ARR found to have a misdemeanor warrant out of CCCSO for 23152(b) CVC. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 6/29 – O’Hara Ave: ARR and INV contacted for verbal argument. ARR determined to have an outstanding warrant. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/1 – Point Area: ARR contacted during theft investigation. ARR found to have a no bail misdemeanor warrant for 4024.2(C) PC and 11377(a) HS. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/1 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted and found to have two misdemeanor warrants. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 7/2 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted after a VC violation and initially provided a false name. ARR found to have two non-citable warrants out of San Francisco County, in possession of a controlled substance and a dangerous weapon. ARR fought with officers during arrest. ARR to MDF.

Weapons violation

  • 6/15 – Lone Tree Way: ARR stopped for VC violations. ARR found to be driving on suspended drivers license for DUI. ARR in possession of brass knuckles. ARR released on NTA.
  • 6/20 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted during a welfare check. ARR found to be in possession of a concealed dirk or dagger, possession of heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia. ARR to MDF.
  • 6/24 – Second St.: ARR was contacted after a verbal altercation with business staff and found to be a felon in possession of teargas. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/2 – Anastasia Dr: RES discharged a firearm after a dispute with VICs. RES fled the scene prior to BPD arriving on scene.

Holy crap Brentwood. Time for BPD to be a bit more proactive. Anybody working traffic, crime suppression undercover ops?

The thugs have arrived. Time to build a jail holding facility in east county. Looks like the trips to Martinez have become a burden taking officers off the beat.
Oh, and ” let’s be careful out there “.
