Brentwood Police

The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between July 30 through August 5 according to information provided by Brentwood Police Department.

Assault

  • 7/30 – First St.: ARR attacked and struck VIC, which caused scratches to the body. During the altercation ARR grabbed and presented a knife and wooden stick at the VIC in a threatening manner. ARR to MDF.
  • 7/30 – Heartland Cl: VIC and RES were in a physical altercation. RES fled prior to officer arrival. VIC sustained minor injuries, and was transported by AMR.
  • 8/2 – Sand Creek Rd: RES struck VIC in the face with a closed fist. RES fled into a gold 4 door Ford with dealer plates. UTL RES. VIC declined medical attention.
  • 8/2 – Sand Creek Rd. VIC1 and VIC2 were pepper sprayed by unknown responsible in the parking lot after a verbal argument. VIC1 and VIC2 were treated by AMR. RES fled scene in a new black Nissan altima (unknown plate).
  • 8/3 – Havenwood Ave: RES punched VIC. No prosecution desired.

Auto Theft

  • 7.30 – Sand Creek: RES- stole VIC’s motorcycle from the parking lot of Streets of Brentwood. Motorcycle entered into SVS.
  • 8/3 – Rampart Way: Unknown RES stole VIC’s vehicle from in front of his residence overnight (8/2/14 2300 -8/3/14 0930).

Brentwood Muni Code Violation

  • 7/30 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR- was contacted during a welfare check and determined to be in possession of an open container of alcohol. ARR- was issued a PTA and then released from the scene.

Burglary (Business)

  • 7/31 – Second Street: ARR-1 and ARR-2 entered the business on two occasions stealing multiple items of baby formula. Estimated total loss was valued at $2646.00. ARR-1 and ARR-2 were transported to MDF.
  • 8/1 – Sacred Mountain Ln: On 7/31/2014 at 2208 hours, RES entered the above business and stole a laptop.

Burglary (Residential)

  • 8/1 – Pheasant Run Tr:Unk RES entered VIC’s residence via unlocked front door and stole laptop computers. Occ’d 7/31 2200 – 8/1 0100.
  • 8/5 – Autumn Valley Way: An unidentified responsible stole a black iPhone and black AT&T GoPhone from the open pedestrian door of the residence. Total estimated loss: $440.

DUI

  • 8/2 – Grant St:ARR was identified as the driver during a traffic enforcement stop. ARR displayed signs of being under the influence of marijuana and admitted to smoking marijuana prior to driving. ARR was arrested for DUI and released on a Promise to Appear.
  • 8/2 – Jeffrey Way: ARR stopped for VC violations. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF, VEH parked.
  • 8/3 – Minnesota Ave: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR found to be DUI. ARR to MDF, VEH stored.
  • 8/3 – Garin Parkway: V-1 struck a city light pole and left the scene. D-1 was later located and arrested for DUI.

Fraud

  • 7/30 – Devonshire LP: RES used VIC’s personal information to wire money to southern California.
  • 7/31 – Bismarck Lane: RES used VIC’s credit card to make unauthorized transactions.
  • 8/5 – Franklin Dr.: RES attempted to place a fraudulent order using VIC’s credit card information to a pet supply company in Wisconsin for $1,500.
  • 8/5 – Spanish Bay Dr: VIC’S personal information used to open accounts in Antioch.

H&S Violation

  • 7/31 – Lone Tree Way:Unknown RES obtained VIC’s prescribed hydrocodone from the pharmacy without VIC’s permission.
  • 8/1 – Claremont Dr: ARR was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance, in possession of a hypodermic needle, and in violation of his probation. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/3 – Griffith: ARR stopped for VC violations. ARR in possession of alcohol and concentrated cannabis. ARR released to parents on a juvenile affidavit. Veh stored.
  • 8/3 – Balfour Rd: ARR contacted and determined to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARR released per 849 PC.

Miscellaneous Information

  •  7/30 – Oak St: A City of Brentwood garbage truck struck and tore down overhead wires while emptying a dumpster. The wires were determined to be for cable.
  • 8/1 – Sand Creek Rd: RES left child at the Kaiser in Antioch. RES did not realize they had forgot child. RES arrived at Round Table Pizza and could not locate child. Dispatch advised child was being held by security at Kaiser.
  • 8/4 – Brentwood Blvd: INV1 and INV2 were involved in a road rage type incident that began outside of city
  • 8/4 – Sand Creek Rd: INV purchased vehicle with false plates on it. It was determined transaction occurred in Pittsburg.

Parole/Probation Violation

  • 8/1 – Balfour Rd: ARR contacted drinking alcohol inside vehicle. ARR on DUI probation. ARR released on signed PTA.
  • 8/2 – Leaning Oak Dr.: RES was arrested on a felony probation violation warrant and search was conducted subsequent to terms of probation. A marijuana cultivation was located. RES to MDF on warrant.
  • 8/3 – Griffith Ln: While investigating a suspicious vehicle it was determined the vehicle registration was expired and false registration tabs were displayed. During the investigation ARR came out of the residence intoxicated in violation of probation terms. ARR vehicle stored and ARR released on a signed PTA
  • 8/4 – Central Bvld: ARR- was contacted in regards to a verbal dispute, and he was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. ARR- was on active probation with a consume no alcohol clause, so he was placed under arrest. ARR- to MDF.

Petty Theft

  • 7/30 – Lone Tree Way: Responsible took purse from victim’s unlocked vehicle while it was parked at gas station.
  • 7/30 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC reported that a person posing as a Comcast employee obtained her credit card information and used it to attempt purchases.
  • 7/30 – Oak St.: Unidentified RES used VIC’s pin number to remove cash from the ATM without her permission. Total loss is $500.
  • 8/2 – Ethan Allan Dr.: RES entered an unlocked vehicle, but did not steal anything. RP followed RES, but ultimately lost visual. Unable to locate RES.
  • 8/4 – Oak St.: RP stated parcel and postal boxes were broken into and unknown property was taken. Total estimated loss $210.00.
  • 8/5 – Balfour: RES entered store and stole baby formula.
  • 8/5 – Sand Creek: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were caught shoplifting $57.94 worth of miscellaneous home furnishings. ARR-1 and ARR-2 were released from the scene on signed juvenile affidavits.

Robbery

  • 7/30 – Walnut Blvd: ARR1, ARR2 and RES entered the business and attempted to steal alcohol. When ARRs and RES were confronted by VIC, RES removed a handgun from his right pocket and aimed it at VIC. All three then fled in a awaiting vehicle, which was occupied by ARR3 and ARR4.

Vandalism

  • 7/31 – Arrowhead St.: RES drilled holes into VIC’s gas tank causing gasoline to leak out. The estimated cost to replace the gas tank is $1,500.00.
  • 7/31 – Sycamore Ave: RP believes SUS drilled out the lock on a rear pedestrian gate to the property. RP wished documentation only.
  • 8/1 – Canyonwood Dr: Graffiti on utility box
  • 8/1 – Fernwood Ln: RES broke exterior door knob. No entry made into residence.
  • 8/4 – Shady Willow – Victim’s vehicle was keyed and dented while parked in apartment complex parking lot. Occurred overnight.
  • 8/5 – Claremont Dr: Responsible(s) used blue spray paint to write on bridge rails of the bridge at Creekside Park near the entrance to the Dry Creek Trail.
  • 8/5 – Balfour Rd: Responsible(s) are entering restroom after hours and vandalizing interior of restroom.
  • 8/5 – Birch St.: Front outer dual pane window shattered. Occurred between approximately 8/4/14 1800 and 8/5/14 1600 hours.

Warrant

  • 7/31 – Minnesota Ave: The ARR was arrested for an outstanding warrant and turned over to a Contra Costa County Child Services worker. The ARR was also listed as a missing person
  • 8/2 – Walnut Blvd: ARR had two bench warrants, he was arrested and transported to MDF.
  • 8/2 – Leaning Oak: ARR was contacted outside his residence on service of a felony warrant. ARR to MDF. Subsequent Probation search resulted in finding an outdoor cultivation of marijuana.
  • 8/4 – Oak St.: ARR was stopped for a minor vehicle code violation and found to have a warrant for his arrest. ARR was released on a signed PTA.
  • 8/4 – Sweet Grass Dr: ARR stopped for a VC violation. ARR’s driver’s license was determined to be suspended. ARR determined to have a no bail warrant out of Livermore for 647(b) PC. ARR’s vehicle was impounded and she was transported to MDF.
  • 8/5 – Dainty Ave: ARR was contacted during a suspicious vehicle stop and had two outstanding warrants (14601.1 CVC, 594 PC). ARR was also on CDC parole for 245 PC.
  • 8/5 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR was stopped for minor vehicle code violations and determined to have warrant for his arrest. ARR was released on a signed PTA.
