The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Oakley Police Department between July 2-8 according to information provided by Oakley Police.
The City of Oakley reported they received over 100 fireworks calls on the 4th of July. In total, Oakley Police officers issued 9 illegal fireworks citations, made 111 fireworks related contacts and confiscated fireworks in over 80 instances of those contacts.
