On Sunday morning at roughly 4:00 am, Oakley Police responded to an attempted break-in on Solitude Dr. where a subject was trying to get into a home. Oakley Police quickly arrived on scene where they contacted and arrested the subject who was very intoxicated.
According to Oakley Police Chief Bani Kollo, the subject was arrested for tampering with a vehicle, drunk in public and prowling!
Kollo added he was not from the area.

He was a lost sole trying to find his way home like my big brother.I feel sorry for his disease.It was good that he didn’t get mistakenly shot. Good job OPD.
