Friends of Marsh Creek Watershed to Talk Bees Tonight

by ECT

marsh creek watershed

I wanted to put out this reminder as the Friends of Marsh Creek Watershed will have special guest speaker Gary Lawrence of the Mt. Diablo Beekeeping Association talk tonight about bees and their many benefits.

Mr. Lawrence will bring a demo hive with live bees, posters, and beekeeping equipment and will give a presentation on the activities of Mount Diablo Beekeeping Association and beekeepers in the area, and then will answer your questions.

Meeting will be held from 7-9 pm at Liberty Union High School District Offices 20 Oak Street, Brentwood, CA

Wasn’t to long ago you blew a gasket about bee hives and keepers.

sure did… however, it had nothing to do with the bees. Rather, It had to do with how it was brought up to the council with outside influence from as far as Indiana and Georgia chiming in. We can have the debate, but let’s have it done locally and not for self interest. Should this be brought up again, I still feel the same way that a certain councilman should recuse himself.

Thats right, this time it’s brought forward by the FOMC and last time by a council member you don’t like. I get it. Sorry

Nothing is brought forward, this is a Friends of Marsh Creek Watershed meeting which will allow the public to get educated on bees should they choose to attend. I don’t dislike the councilman you are referring to, I don’t like some of his past actions. Since being appointed vice mayor, he has a clean slate in my book.
