Fresno Police Locate 100 Bullet Holes Inside Home, Parents Arrested

On Sunday, July 26, the Fresno Police Officers received a call of a disturbance and also shots fired in Northwest Policing District. Officers Finley, Nelson, and Holden arrived on scene and began their investigation.

After a very extensive investigation it was determined that the family at the above location believed they were targeted by unknown subjects for unknown reason. The family consisted of the father, mother, and three teenage children.

During the investigation officers determined that the family was not being targeted and were not in any danger.

Officers located a 9mm handgun inside the house, and a second firearm was also located on the roof of the residence. When officers began processing the interior of the residence for evidence they located over 100 bullets holes that had been shot from within the home into the walls and ceiling.

Fresno-Police-DepartmentWhile checking the exterior of the home it was determined that the bullets that had been shot from within the home had exited the roof and exterior walls posing a risk to the surrounding neighborhood.

All weapons were located and confiscated and booked for evidence.

Both adults are facing multiple felony charges related to the negligent discharge of a firearm and also child endangerment pending a medical clearance.
