During yesterdays  swearing-in for the State Assembly, new leadership assignments were announced by Assembly Speaker John A. Pérez with five Democratic freshman members of the Assembly in a caucus post. Assemblyman Jim Frazier received a committee chair that appears to be a perfect fit considering he ran his campaign on accountability and ethical government and will chair the Accountability and Administrative Review Committee.

That seems like a bunch of committees that are not needed. why not just combine some and call it a day?

Anyone know anything about Ben Hueso of San Diego. He is the Chair of water and being in San Diego, he may not be an ally on Delta issues.
