FOMCW To Discuss Dutch Slough Wetland Restoration Project Tonight

The Friends of Marsh Creek Watershed will be hosting their monthly meeting this evening which will feature a presentation by Patty Finfrock, California Department of Water Resources, where she will discuss the Dutch Slough Wetland Restoration Project.

The project is a 1200 acre wetland restoration project located at the mouth of Marsh Creek on the Delta in Oakley, this project 10 years in the planning is nearing the end of its planning and moving towards it’s construction stage.  The Supplemental Environmental Impact Report for the Dutch Slough Tidal Marsh Restoration Project is now available online for public comment. This Supplemental EIR covers project design refinements that have been developed since the 2010 Final EIR for the Project, but does not include any major changes.
