FOMCW: Seeking Volunteers for MLK Day

The Friends of Marsh Creek Watershed will be hosting activities on Monday, January 21st in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. They are looking for volunteers to help at one of three activities.  With kids off from school, this could be a fun event for kids of all ages.

 

 

Oakley (Map LINK)
Join us for cleaning up trash along Main Street near Live Oak. This prevents trash from getting in our storm-drains and in the waterways AND helps keep Oakley looking terrific!

In Brentwood FOMCW have two sites:

Sand Creek across from Almond Park (Map LINK)
Join our partners at REI to do some weeding and cleaning up at our demonstration garden along Sand Creek.

Join us as we plant native grasses and trees along the Marsh Creek Trail.
