Firefighters Rescue 4 People Stranded Outside Pittsburg Marina on Sea-Doo

At 6:39 pm Monday, Contra Costa County firefighters responded to a water rescue just outside the Pittsburg Marina.

Units responded to a report of an adult male with three youths on a broken down sea-doo with no way to get back onto shore. There were not reported injuries, however, they needed assistance getting back to shore.

AMR was requested to the marina as a precaution. Pittsburg Police were also assisting as they were launching their rescue boat.

By 7:14 pm, rescue boat 81 made contact with the victims and reported no injuries and were preparing to tow them back into the marina. By 7:29, BC8 reported that rescue boat 81 had began towing the boat back to the marina.
