At 2:01 pm Monday, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a vegetation fire on Marsh Creek Road just east of Deer Valley Road which burned 14 acres in Brentwood.
The fire was located on State property which caused CALFIRE to also respond along with CONFIRE.
Firefighters extinguished the fire with a direct attack and without incident.
