Firefighters Battle Early Morning House Fire in Pittsburg

At 3:20 am Friday, Contra Costa County Firefighters responded to a report of a residential structure fire in the 4300 block of Oakdale Pl in the City of Pittsburg.

Engine 85 arrived to heavy smoke and flames coming from the garage of the home and a portion of the residence and deemed it a working fire. At least one resident was located outside the home.

By 3:37 pm, fire attack was underway and by 3:41 am the garage fire was knocked down with interior attack still under operation.

By 3:50 am, the attic fire was deemed out.
