FBI Seeks Public Assistance in Recovery of Stolen Firearm

SAN FRANCISCO The FBI’s San Francisco Field Office is seeking information leading to the recovery of a stolen firearm, magazines and ballistic vest. The items were taken from an FBI special agent’s vehicle by an unknown suspect or suspects between 6:00 p.m., Jan. 8, 2017 and 10:00 a.m., Jan. 9, 2017 in Concord, Orinda or Lafayette. The following items were stolen:

  • H&K 10mm MP5
  • H&K ​Magazine
  • One Ballistic Vest

The FBI, in partnership with the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office, is working to locate and recover items in the interest of public safety.

MP5? Are you kidding? That’s more than a “firearm”. Thats a full auto machine gun if owned by FBI!
That thing should have been locked down! LAME!

Good example of why there should be no LEO exemptions in laws related to firearm possession or ownership.
