For those of you with children, you are highly encouraged to attend this free hands-on event which allows an up close experience with delta predators. This also happens to be the grand finale of Oakley Science Week . Attendees will get hands-on with the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Marine Life and Ecosystem with live animals–in the past, there have been birds, owls, and snakes. In addition, there will be several booths with crafts, activities and hand-outs.
The event will occur on from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Ironhouse Sanitary District located at 450 Walnut Meadows Dr.
