Remember When Rock Was Young
Saturday March 15, 2014 8:00 pm

“Craig A. Meyer is one of the most talented people I have ever worked with. He can do anything!” – Barry Manilow

Almost Elton John stars multi-talented singer and pianist Craig A Meyer whose credits include appearances in Film, Television, even Broadway!

In music, Meyer has toured internationally and recorded with music legends Barry Manilow and Frankie Valli, and has headlined for Princess Cruises around the world.

Throughout Meyer’s busy career, he was repeatedly approached about his striking resemblance to Elton John and his uncanny ability to sound like the rock and roll legend. Meyer was eventually persuaded to expand his repertoire and began impersonating Sir Elton John.

Today, Meyer is known to be one of the best Elton John Tribute acts in the industry. His strong vocals, looks and amazing talent on the piano has every audience remembering when rock was young. Meyer performs in the US and overseas in casino showrooms, theatres, corporate events and special events.

Social Security

Social Security Presented By The Vagabond Players

Saturday March 29, 2014 8:00 pm
Sunday March 30, 2014 2:00 pm

Written by one of Hollywood’s top comedy screenwriters and directed by the great Mike Nichols, this hilarious Broadway comedy starred Marlo Thomas and Ron Silver as a married couple who are art dealers. Their domestic tranquility is shattered upon the arrival of the wife’s goody goody nerd of a sister, her uptight CPA husband, and her archetypal Jewish Mother. They are there to try to save their college student daughter from the horrors of living only for sex. The comic sparks really begin to fly when the mother hits it off with the elderly minimalist artist who is the art dealer’s best client!

“Just when you were beginning to think you were never going to laugh again on Broadway, along comes Social Security and you realize that it is once more safe to giggle in the streets. Indeed, you can laugh out loud, joyfully, with, as it were, social security, for the play is a hoot, and better yet, a sophisticated, even civilized hoot. ” – The New York Post Social Security was originally produced on Broadway by David Geffen and the Schubert Organization at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre in New York City on April 17, 1986. It was directed by Mike Nichols.
