Engine 52 had a nice save this afternoon in preventing a small grass fire from becoming a big problem behind Lowes off of Lone Tree Way in Antioch. The fire was quickly put out without issue. Luckily the conditions were ideal as their was no wind and the field was not yet dry. Fire occurred around 2:00 pm.
Kudos to the guys on the engine!

Looks more like a trash fire instead of a grass fire.
was a mix of a lot of stuff… just glad the grass wasn’t brown!
Learn your fire science Burke. When the grass is green, it isn’t going to burn. Nice trying to make a bigger deal out of this when it was. So much for being unbiased.
