Gotta stop that drinking and driving. People on this side of the Bay Area are ruthless for drinking/drugs and driving.

Since when does ECCFPD investigate and determine the cause of crashes?

Where does it say that ECCFPD investigated and was determining the cause of the crash? All I’m reading is, “the probable cause of the accident was alcohol “. I would suspect from personal experience that FD showed up and found a.) empty beer cans in car and/or b.) patient reeking of alcohol and unable to speak coherently.

No mention of police. Maybe the police never were there and the fire department is doing it all.
Not.
