East Contra Costa Fire Responds to 3 Vehicle Crashes in 2-Hours

On Saturday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to multiple vehicle accidents within a two hour period of time involving 10 total patients.

At 7:00 pm, they responded to Veterans Park where a head-on vehicle crash occurred in the 3800 block of Balfour Road in the City of Brentwood. The crash had three patients with one requiring a medical helicopter and two declining medial treatment. The crash is under investigation by Brentwood Police.

A short time later, at 7:55 pm, units responded to a report of a vehicle crash in the City of Oakley at Gamay Drive and Empire Ave in the City of Oakley. This crash shut down southbound Empire and had a total of 6 patients. 3 patients were transported by ambulance while 3 declined medical care.

A 6:30 pm, there was also a motorcycle crash at Lone Tree Way and Brentwood Blvd.

Meanwhile, around 10:00 pm in Pittsburg, at least one person died in a fatal crash on Railroad Ave. For more info on that crash, click here.
