SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY UNTIL 6:30PM PDT SUN …SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN CONTRA COSTA COUNTY UNTIL 630 PM PDT… AT 554 PM PDT, DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER ANTIOCH, MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH. DIME SIZE HAIL AND WINDS IN EXCESS OF 30 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM. LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE… ANTIOCH, PITTSBURG, OAKLEY, BRENTWOOD, DISCOVERY BAY, KNIGHTSEN, BYRON AND BETHEL ISLAND. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM, AND MAY LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED ROADWAYS. FREQUENT LIGHTNING MAY OCCUR WITH THIS STORM. LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 10 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK A SAFE SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE. &&
