East Contra Costa 4th of July Events

Here is a look at local 4th of July events in East Contra Costa County:

8:30 am – Antioch Rotary Pancake Breakfast
New this year is a pancake breakfast that will be held from 8:30 am to 10:30 am on July 4 on 2nd Street across from City Hall. The pancakes will be free, however, a suggested donation of $5 is appreciated.

9:00 am – City of Brentwoood 4^th of July Parade
The City of Brentwood is pleased to host the first ever Brentwood Classic 4^th of July Parade and Celebration on Tuesday, July 4^th from 9am-1pm in downtown Brentwood. This event will feature a nostalgic, small town parade, including a special parade at the beginning for the kids (no preregistration required for the Kiddie Parade, just line up starting at 8:30am), and the celebration will include food, games, and entertainment. Free for all located at City Park at (710 Second Street)

11:00 am – Celebrate Antioch 4^th of July Parade
The parade will begin at 11:00 am starting at 2nd and E street making its way through the downtown area. Judges booths will be outside City Hall.

1:00 pm –Hannah Nicole Vineyards and Winery in Brentwood will feature a concert entitled “Red, White, and Blues” honoring Independence Day. All ages are welcome to this special admission-free concert. The event will feature Jefferey James who will be playing blues on his electric guitar. 4:00 pm – Celebrate Antioch Family Fun & Fireworks
After the parade, the foundation is hosting a family fun for everyone with live entertainment, car show, kids zone with family games, prizes and fireworks at the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds. The gates open at 4:00 pm on Tuesday.

9:15 pm – Pittsburg Fireworks
The City of Pittsburg will once again host the Independence Day Fireworks Celebration on July 4, 2017 at the Pittsburg Marina.  Fireworks will begin at Dusk (approximately 9:15pm).

9:30 pm – Antioch Fireworks
Fireworks will be displayed from the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds. The Fireworks will be from approximately 9:30 pm until 10 pm. Event closes at 11 pm.
