The Celebrate Antioch Foundation announced Saturday that this weekends outdoor events for Sunday have been cancelled due to poor air quality. Both the pancake breakfast, opening ceremony and parade downtown have all been cancelled.
According to Antioch Mayor Sean Wright, the community is still invited to show support for Veterans at the VFW at Fulton Shipyard at 12:00 pm where there will be a ceremony and BBQ lunch as scheduled.
The VFW is located at 815 Fulton Shipyard Rd in Antioch.
