Discovery Bay: Woman Airlifted to Local Hospital After Being Run Over by Van

Just after 7:21 am Saturday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to a report of a female being run over by a van on Largo Ct.

According to the East Contra Costa Fire Protection the 32-year-old female was suffering from possible internal injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital after locating her in the entry way to her home.  The female was run over at some time last night and was located this morning in need of medical attention.

AMR, who happened to be in the area for another incident, broke that incident to immediately provided support to transport the patient to the helicopter location.

As of 10:30 am, the Contra Costa County Sheriffs Office was still investigating and no information has been released.

This morning at about 7:21, deputies were advised about a suspicious circumstance on the 2000 block of Largo Court in Discovery Bay with a subject being taken to the hospital by helicopter. The victim was apparently run over by a vehicle. Deputies are continuing to investigate this incident.

No further information is being released at this time.
