Discovery Bay: ECCFPD Responds to Vehicle Accident into Canal

Canal Vehicle

At roughly 6:05 am Saturday morning, Engine 59, 54 and Battalion 5 responded to assist Stockton Fire for a vehicle accident on Highway 4 on Victoria Island, East of the Old River Bridge.

Engine 59 arrived on scene to find one vehicle upside down in a canal. One victim was freed from the vehicle with major injuries and transported to a local hospital in Tracy.

Chp and medics took 30 minutes to even respond to the call. Horrible!!! Quicker response could have saved her. Negligence on the highway patrol and the medical response and fire department.
