A power outage just after 2:30 pm Friday is impacting more than 1700 homes within the Town of Discovery Bay according to PGE.
As of 3:00 pm, PG&E has not yet assessed the damage or cause, but have a crew en route.
Current outages across East Contra Costa on Friday afternoon after the area was hit with high winds:
- Antioch – 9 outages affecting 450 customers
- Brentwood – 17 outages affecting 72 customers
- Byron – 18 outages impacting 220 customers
- Discovery Bay – 4 outages impacting 1775 customers
- Knightsen – 2 outages affecting 34 customers
- Oakley – 6 outages affecting 59 customers
- Pittsburg – 1 outage impacting 79 customers
