Deer Valley High School Placed on Lock Down After Weapons Threat

by ECT

On Wedenday afternoon, Deer Valley High School was placed on lock down after a rumor circulated about a student who may be bringing a weapon onto campus. The lock down began shortly before 2:00 pm and lasted about an hour.

Here is the text of the message sent to parents provided by Stephanie Anello:

Good Afternoon. This is the Antioch Unified School District with an important safety announcement from Deer Valley High School. A short time ago, students reported that there was a rumor circulating that someone may be coming on to campus and that individual may have a weapon. As a precautionary measure, we are currently in lockdown mode and the Antioch Police Department has been notified. All students are safe. The lockdown will be lifted once we have determined that the threat is not credible and that students are safe. Until that time, students will remain in class and parents or community members will not be allowed to enter the campus.  During the lockdown, no students will be allowed to leave campus until the lockdown is lifted. We thank you for your support of our school and our efforts to ensure all students are safe.

We will update you once the lockdown has been lifted.

3:00 pm Update

This is the Antioch Unified School District calling with an update regarding the lockdown initiated at Deer Valley High School a short time ago. The lockdown has now been lifted and and students are being released by house. All students are safe.

40 years ago we never heard of crap like this in our schools. What a screwed up society we are becoming.

I was just thinking the same thing.

My high school years (25% Air Force Brats) were memories of fists, bats, pipes, switchblades, and an occasional bomb threat. Same violence but weapons of choice change over time and attitude.

Maybe not 40 years ago, but our devolved society has been in place for at least half that time. 20 years ago I was on Fremont High campus as a guest speaker and there was a lockdown. I remember hiding in a dark, locked classroom with the students and teacher. apparently a gang member had “dised” a member of the enemy gang. 23 years ago,Thousand Oaks High School’s graduation was held with heavy police presence. because of it was under threat of gang retaliation. The year before the school got metal detectors placed at every entrance. High fencing with barbed wire strung across the top was placed around the campus and security guards were hired. It happens everywhere. Remove any teaching of religion and morals, consequences, weaken ethics and adult supervision
and it’s the perfect setting for “Lord of the Flies”.

Religion has no place in a public school. It’s just too personal and divisive.

Boy was I glad when that happened because I SO HATED being bused to religion every Wednesday. Needless to say, we are an Atheist now! Organized religion is for the weak and needy.

Too much taxpayer money is going to support this crappy school. Just close it. Kids need to be able to get an education without fearing for their lives. This school isn’t cutting it and I’m sick of reading about it in the paper every day.

Public education hasn’t always been around, and it won’t be around forever, Lord willing. The institution as we know it is crumbling, or possibly metamorphosing into something new. The overcrowded classrooms and constant platforms for mass shootings are first evidences of this collapse. Millions of coerced/disinterested children and massive dropout rates are also a part of this slow disintegration. Knowledge is in the hands of those willing to learn.

You didnt do well in school and apparently in society.

Wow! Finally something I agree with you on!

Apparently you’re still operating by the ultra-competitive/overly-critical mindset induced from years of public school indoctrination, RJB. You sound like a grade-A product of the teachers who have forever taught that self worth is to be found in passing silly tests. RJB, you’re a true tool and part of the problem. Whether one did well in school or not isn’t a direct indicator of one’s character, fool.

I graduated from the Class of 2003 in DVHS and I remembered back in 2001 that there was a rumor circulating among my fellow classmates that an unnamed individual made a hit list of names.

It turned out the rumor was completely false. Even though the unnamed individual was proven to be innocent, the rumormongers were never held accountable for their actions and that unnamed individual was subject to threats and verbal abuse from his fellow students.

One would think a person is innocent until proven guilty but unfortunately, that was not the case in the court of public opinion.

The sad part was the school only offered an apology and did nothing more. In addition, the unnamed individual’s parents never stood up for him. Under normal circumstances, DVHS would have been sued and that kid would transfer to another school.

Fortunately there was a happy ending. That individual who was falsely accused of making a hit list ended up using that horrible experience as motivation to succeed during college and achieve greatness in life. He ended up graduating in the top of his class in college with a 3.7+ GPA while the rumormongers who were responsible for his emotional pain ended up stuck working in retail jobs making minimum wage. So justice was served in the end through Karma.

What is the point of this story I just mentioned? If it turns out that the rumor mentioned in this story was false, I hope DVHS would hold those rumormongers accountable even if it means expelling them from school. Because false accusations can ruin a person’s life.

The breakdown of the American family, the loss of a moral compass, corrupt government officials, labels for everyone by the media that promote divisiveness, schools that don’t or can’t educate our children due to lack of discipline for fear of being sued, political correctness run amok, and fewer and fewer and people taking responsibility for themselves are only a few of the reasons America has been in a downward spiral, beginning in the 1960’s. I know…I have been here to watch it all and feel so sad for what is becoming of our once great nation.

If our own government is guilty of false flags, why do you think teenagers wouldn’t do the same? Come on guys
