Dec. 3-4: Livermore Wineries to Host Holidays in the Vineyards

by ECT

‘Tis the season to celebrate at Livermore Valley’s annual wine country tradition, Holidays in the Vineyards. On December 3rd and 4th, between noon and 4:30 p.m. each day, the public is invited to visit the region’s 50+ local wineries and enjoy award-winning wines, gourmet food, live music and unique arts and crafts by local artisans.

Admission is free to all, though activities and wine tasting prices vary by winery.

Revelers are encouraged to spread holiday cheer by bringing new, unwrapped toys to their favorite participating wineries. All toys collected will be donated to the Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters’

Toys for Tots Program, which directly benefits children in need throughout Alameda and Contra Costa counties.

Wineries across Livermore Valley will offer special wines for tasting, including ports and dessert wines. Santa Claus will visit with children of all ages at selected wineries, so be sure to check www.LVwine.org for Santa’s schedule.
