9:00 am: Wreaths Across America
Join the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10789 at the Union Cemetery located at 11545 Brentwood Blvd in Brentwood, CA . Simultaneous wreath laying ceremonies at over 900 locations all across the country and beyond.


9:00 am: 24 Hour Fitness Ribbon Cutting
Join 24 Hour Fitness as they join the Somersville Towne Center in Antioch. The grand opening event is scheduled Saturday, December 17, 2016, 9:00 a.m., to 1:00 p.m., 24 Hour Fitness Somersville Road Super Sport, 2520 Somersville Road, Antioch. The community is invited to this free celebration, which includes club tours, prize drawings, group training demonstrations, innovative group exercise studio classes and more.

10:00 am: ECCFPD Hosts Selife With Santa (Oakley)
The Untied Professional Firefighters of Contra Costa County, Local 1230 and the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District will be hosting a “Selfie’s with Santa”from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. The public is invited to bring their own camera to Station 93 (530 O’Hara Avenue) to take photographs with Santa and also experience a new Public Education Inflatable.


2:00 pm: Antioch Animal Services Hosts Happy Howl-A-Days
Visit Antioch Animal Services between 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm as they host Free Photos with Santa located at 300 L Street in Antioch. The event will include reduced adoption fees, goodies and giveaways. Specail guest appearance by McGruff the Crime Dog.


3:00 pm: El Campanil presents The Nutcracker

Join Paradise Skate in Antioch (1201 W 10th Street) for Breakfast With Santa.  $5.00 Admission (everyone pays)*includes a skate rental, pastry & juice breakfast, and 2 hours of skating FUN! Professional photo prints are available for $5.00 each.


12:00pm: Streets of Brentwood Host Cookies & Milk with Santa
Spend the early afternoon with Santa and enjoy cookies and milk (1 each for the first 500 children), free arts and crafts, and holiday music with the Big Guy in Santa’s Place, across the Play Area. Located at 2455 Sand Creek Rd, Ste 148, Brentwood.


12:00 pm: El Campanil presents The Nutcracker

Kangazoom Antioch & Mims Bands present Major League Great & Bay Area favorite, Dusty Baker. Free Autograph and Batting game token with the purchase of a Mims Band.
