Go through the process to become a legal citizen Americans Just cant go to other countries and become a permanent citizen. All they do is take the money from America and send it back to where they came from

Using taxpayer $ to fund this project needs public approval. The citizens of Contra Costa County need to start a Referendum to stop this project. Using Public $ to defend these people is insane. Why don’t you go out a raise the funds thru your Liberal Political Machine.

I have to admit I’m confused. It seems there is a movement to support anyone who manages to enter the U.S. illegally, give them the “rights” to vote, obtain a drivers license, free medical care, welfare funds, education etc. but still don’t pay taxes.. Why then, to we bother with border patrols. build walls and have have any deportaion when all that happens is they return to the U.S. and do it all over again.

It’s a shame no one is running against Karen Mitchoff or John Gioia, this alone would get them unelected.

This is a gift of public funds and totally unacceptable. Our local governments are out of control.I feel for illegal aliens but they have made no effort under Daca to start citizenship. Until now there was a free for all. I recommend the Feds continue their job and the state support them.

Immigrants are legal citizens not illegal aliens. Do not refer to them as immigrants until they are citizens. Right now they are illegally trespassing.

When the Feds do a raid separate the felons and criminals from those not in the system. Deport the criminals, fine the others that have not harmed society, identify, and begin the citizen process. Those refusing to begin legal status need to leave. Provide the illegals new applications putting them in line for citizenship and have them complete the entire requirements in a certain period of time while paying off their fine. If they remain good citizens for a certain time legalize them. Congress needs to approach a solution like the above. The way it is now the taxpayers are paying to fight themselves with no possible solution. Our public money needs to be spent on our legal citizens and infrastructure not wasted on a no win situation.

This needs to be forwarded to Jeff Sessions and ICE investigators. What a HUGE blunder for CCCounty.

No Mas ——- I’ve already copied and pasted the information and forwarded it to the Department of Justice. I have a friend who works with the DOJ and he will make sure Sessions sees it. Thanks!

I have the ICE phone number on my cell phone and one click connects me with ICE where I report people who brag how they have scammed the legal immigration system!

Julio Mar 7, 2018 - 5:21 pm

EBJ I’d like to have that.

Illegal aliens are NOT “immigrants.” An immigrant is someone who goes through the process of getting documented permission to enter another country as a resident.

Got out of bed, wasn’t feeling too good
With my wallet and my passport, a new pair of shoes
The sun is shining so I head for the park,
With a bottle of Tequila, and a new pack of cigarettes

I got a cousin and she got a friend,
Who thought that her aunt knew a man who could help
At his apartment I knocked on the door,
he wouldn’t come out until he got paid.

Now don’t tell anybody what I wanna do
if they find out you know that they’ll never let me through.

Cos it’s no fun being an illegal alien
No it’s no fun being an illegal alien

American Mar 9, 2018 - 9:44 am

Then why don’t or didn’t apply for citizenship. If it’s no fun being an illegal alien, WTF are you here? To get free stuff? Get legal and be a true immigrant.

No Mas Mar 8, 2018 - 11:52 pm

Look on da bright side, the board of Supervisors is only spending a million dollars a year on this program of supporting ILLEGAL aliens. Wait, whatttttt?

Contact your rep and complain. Then follow the money:
Who’s getting hired?
Where are they getting the space?
What contracts will come from this and get lost in the paperwork?
If we have so much surplus funds sitting in the bank we can fund this, I want a tax cut! Disgusting!

No Mas Mar 13, 2018 - 9:07 pm

No Bueno! Why are we trying to protect illegals and why is the county involved? This is not in their job description. Protect us legal immigrants from the illegal ones.

Shame, shame!

Ms Hady Mar 29, 2018 - 5:53 pm

You have to be kidding me. Citizens need to put a stop to all this! We need to vote our elected officials out of office! We need to take our state back from them.
