On this episode, I sit down with East Bay Regional Park District Community Outreach Coordinator Jaimee Rizzotti to talk about their upcoming job fairs in Livermore & Richmond.
The job fair is open to youths ages 15-24. The East Bay Regional Parks District is the largest employer of youth in East Bay. Each year the Park District hires over 400 area youth to work in local parks and visitor centers.
Many positions are for temporary season work as recreation aids, interpretive aids, and lifeguards, among others.
The Livermore Youth Job Fair is Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 10 a.m.-noon, at Robert Livermore Community Center at 4444 East Avenue, Livermore, CA. The Richmond Youth Job Fair is on Saturday, January 27 from 10 a.m.-noon at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium & Convention Center, 403 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond, CA.
