Contra Costa Search and Rescue Volunteers Needed

Contra Costa County is currently looking for Search and Rescue volunteers. If you are interested in joining the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team in 2018, please join them for a New Member Orientation, which is held at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month from February to June, at 50 Glacier Drive, Martinez.

The upcoming dates are – April 5, May 3, and June 7

The orientation will last for approximately 60 minutes and will provide more information about CoCoSAR and how to join with the team. You must attend a New Member Orientation in order to pick up an application.

For those of you who already have an application, it must be turned in no later than Friday, July 9, 2018.

Generally speaking, people who know the woods and who have outdoor skills like tracking avoid dishonest scamming thugs like those who infest the Sheriffs Department. No wonder they are having such a hard time getting anyone to volunteer since no one wants to be associated with such garbage.
