Contra Costa County Public Works Will Perform Tree Removal Work On Byron Highway in Byron

Byron, CA – The Contra Costa County Public Works Department will perform work to remove multiple trees along the 14460-14500 Block of Byron Highway, near the intersection of Byron Highway and Byer Road in Byron.

The work is scheduled for Wednesday, December 22, 2021 through Thursday, December 23, 2021, barring unforeseen circumstances. Work will occur from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., weather permitting. Appropriate traffic control measures will be implemented to safely direct pedestrians and vehicles through the work area.

Drivers may experience some delays and may want to consider alternative routes during this period. The trees are being removed in preparation for the Byron Highway at Byer Road Safety Improvements project.
