Beginning Monday August 19, Fitch and Associates, LLC (Fitch) will be hosting a series of town hall meetings to engage citizens regarding current and future Contra Costa County Fire Protection District service delivery models.

In February, the Board of Supervisors, serving as the Board of Director of the fire district, approved a contract with Fitch to study the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District (District) operations and make recommendations for future service delivery options.  A consulting team from Fitch will host three town hall meetings regarding current and future service delivery models for the District.

The meetings will include an education portion regarding the study, and a forum with the chance for residents to speak directly with consultants regarding their views of District service delivery and operations.  It is important that your voice is heard.  Plan to attend one of the three town halls.  For more information, visit the Fire Study website online.
