City of Brentwood Now Accepting Applications for Vacant City Council Seat

BRENTWOOD, CA – Due to the resignation of former Vice Mayor Steve Barr, a vacancy
exists on the Brentwood City Council.

At the City Council meeting of September 12, 2017, the City Council directed staff to proceed with an application process to fill the remainder of Mr. Barr’s term of office. The successful applicant would serve until the results of the November 6, 2018 election, are certified by the City Council.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens over 18 years of age, registered voters, and reside within the City limits of the City of Brentwood.

Application materials and additional details can be downloaded from the City’s website
www.brentwoodca.gov, picked up at the City Clerk’s Office, or requested via e-mail or phone
from [email protected]; (925)-516-5440 .

Completed materials must be submitted in person to the City Clerk’s Office at 150 City Park Way, 3rd Floor, no later than 5:00 p.m. on October 6, 2017.
