Celebrate Antioch Announces 4th of July Parade Winners

by ECT

The Celebrate Antioch Foundation would like to thank the Citizens of Antioch. Once again the great people of Antioch show that we can come to together and have a great time for all families. This year we had the largest turnout at the Fairgrounds.

Attendees enjoyed live music, food areas, kids zone and a vendor fair! Oh wait and let’s not forget a spectacular fireworks show!

To start the day the downtown was alive with people. Beginning with a pancake breakfast that had a line for 2 hours keeping the volunteers from Kiwanis and other service organizations busy! Then came the Parade which has been a staple of the City for many decades.

This year’s Parade had the most participants since Celebrate Antioch has been involved. 2Nd St. was lined with people enjoying all the different entertainment a hometown parade has to offer.

This year we had a few things we haven’t seen before, first a roller skating Mayor Sean Wright coming down the street was a sight to see. We had our Grand Marshall Emily J. Silva riding in the historical fire truck and many many patriotic entries. This leads us to who our Parade winners are, and this year was more difficult with this many entries to get a tally for each category.

Some stupid comments on here coming from insecure people that only notice things that they see in them selves. The parade is beautiful, people had fun, and community got together to celebrate! Sad ass moron comments don’t matter crickets
