Camp ARF Dates Announced for Summer

by ECT

WALNUT CREEK, California – Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) has opened enrollment for their award-winning camp for children TK through 12th grade, offering a huge variety of exciting, educational, week-long sessions running throughout the summer.

Designed for kids and teens interested in animals and conducted on-site at the animal shelter, Camp ARF promotes important humane education concepts and character values, while strengthening the bond between kids and animals. Each summer, Camp ARF introduces more than 500 local children to pet guardianship, animal behavior, and safety through hands-on lessons, games, and activities.

This year, ARF offers nine themed options across the age groups spread over nine weeks during the summer, starting June 11.

From interactive crafts and animal behavior education to more advanced programs introducing animal welfare and veterinary medicine opportunities, ARF designs each camp session to inspire and engage the imagination of children.

Sessions fill quickly – reserve your child’s spot today. Register online at arflife.org/camp-arf. Financial aid is available for qualifying candidates.

For questions, please contact ARF at [email protected] or (925) 296-3142.
