At 11:23 am Monday, CALFIRE responded to a report of a vegetation fire on Mountaire Parkway in Clayton behind Dana Hills Park.
Shortly upon arrival, they stated 4-acres were on fire and were unable to access the fire. Contra Costa County Fire protection District was then requested to assist with structure protection
The fire is at the bottom of Mt. Diablo and crews are currently in the process of trying to make access as of 11:41 am off Mitchell Canyon Road.

Per dispatch, the fire was contained to 25-acres.

Per Contra Costa County Fire, fire was contained to 49-acres.
