Byron: Woman Airlifted to Local Hospital After Being Assaulted With Baseball Bat

On Thursday night, a woman was airlifted to a local hospital after being assaulted in the head with a baseball bat according to the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District.

The incident occurred in the 4300 block of Kellogg Creek Road in the Town of Byron just before 9:00 pm.

Engine 59 arrived on scene to find a 48-year-old female complaining of a head injury after stating she was hit in the head with a baseball bat.

Due to the head injury and neck injury, aid was provided and was airlifted to a local hospital.  Her condition is unknown and no information has been released as of Friday morning by the Contra Costa County Sheriffs Office who are investigating the incident.

She fell and hit her head because she was intoxicated…perfect way to get a nice expensive bill for the helo transport.
