Just six days into the Fudge for Troops Campaign which goes through the month of July, the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Brentwood is reporting 40 lbs. of fudge have been sold.
For every 1 lb. of Fudge purchased, they will donate 1 lb. of Fudge to Blue Star Moms, Chapter 101 of the East Bay who will then include the fudge in care packages throughout the service men and woman stationed around the world.
Craig and Christine McKnight, owners of hosted by the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Brentwood and Concord have a total goal of 200 lbs. Broken down, Campaign Brentwood had 25 Pounds of Fudge sold and Concord 15 Pounds of Fudge sold. Last year, the campaign set a record of 170 lbs of fudge sold.
There is still time to get down to the Streets of Brentwood or the Concord store and buy some fudge to help them not only break their goal, but this will go towards a wonderful cause.
