Brentwood: Vehicle Crash Shuts Down Balfour Road

At 5:42 pm, East Contra Costa Fire was dispatched to a report of a vehicle crash in the 300 block of Balfour Road near Deer Valley in the City of Brentwood.

Upon arrival, Engine 52 observed a 3-vehicle crash involving a power pole that had fallen and is blocking the roadway. A medical helicopter was requested, however, it was later cancelled.  There was at least 1-patient.

By 6:04 pm, PG&E was on scene. At least 75-PG&E customers were without power.
