Brentwood: Teenager Airlifted to Local Hospital After Being Hit in the Head with Shot Put

At 4:28 pm Thursday, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District was dispatched to Heritage High School in the City of Brentwood on a report of a student who was hit in the head with a shot put.

At 4:42 pm, Battalion 5 stated the landing zone would be the football field.

Update
According to the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District, a 15 year old male was accidentally hit in the head by a 12lb. steel shot put on the track. He was flown to a trauma center for treatment
