Brentwood Resident Arrested After Short Pursuit in Stolen Vehicle by Windsor PD

The Windsor Police Department announced Monday that Jennifer Hummel, 35 out of Brentwood, was arrested in a stolen vehicle after a short pursuit.

According to police, Hummel passed an officer at a high-rate of speed on Northbound 101 and  when the officer caught up to the speeding vehicle and attempted to stop it. Hummel of failed to stop and led the deputy on a short pursuit.

During the short pursuit it was determined the vehicle was reported stolen out of Antioch.

Hummel finally yielded where she was arrested and booked at the Sonoma County Jail for vehicle theft, evading, and being an unlicensed driver.
