The Brentwood Police Department announced the arrest of a buglary suspect on September 7 in the early morning hours.
Police stated they responded in the early morning hours to an alarm call on Bamboo Drive and found that a suspect had burglarized the Pulte model homes and sales office.
Investigating officers located Ty Leighton nearby, and found him to be in possession of burglary tools and property belonging to Pulte Homes.
A subsequent search of Leighton’s residence revealed numerous items of property reported as stolen from other theft-related cases in Brentwood. Leighton was booked at county jail on the following charges:
- 459 PC Burglary
- 466 PC Possession of Burglary Tools
- 496(A) PC Possession of Stolen Property
- 1203.2 PC Probation Violation
Additionally, a portable welder was also recovered from Leighton’s residence, and the Brentwood Police Department is attempting to identify the owner.

This is the second time THIS YEAR that Ty Leighton has been arrested for burglary. He didn’t learn the first time so no reason to release him.
