As a reminder, Citizens are encouraged to create their Safety Profile with SMART911 today to have their information available to 911 and to receive emergency notifications when the City of Brentwood assumes dispatch responsibilities on March 15th. SMART911 is a free service available for all residents and travelers to Brentwood, that allows individuals and families to sign up online to provide key information to 911 call takers in case of an emergency. Once signed up, citizens can create a Safety Profile for their household that includes any information they want emergency dispatchers and first responders to have in the event of an emergency.

When the citizen makes an emergency call to 911, their safety profile is automatically displayed to the 911 call taker, allowing them to send the right response teams to the right location with the right information.

SMART911 is private and secure, is only used for emergency responses, and only made available to the 911 system in the event of an emergency call. To sign up for SMART911, please visit the website at www.smart911.com
