The Brentwood Police Department announced the arrest of two women from Oakland in a theft at Victoria’s Secret at The Streets of Brentwood.
According to Police, alert staff at Victoria’s Secret, two females were arrested after entering the store and concealing over $900 worth of store merchandise underneath their clothing. Officers were notified of the incident and, while responding to the Streets of Brentwood, were given a description of the duo.
Based on the description that was given, officers were able to immediately locate Taryn Johnson (27) and Deja Lambert (24), both residents of Oakland.
Officers recovered the stolen merchandise and during the course of the investigation, located an additional $2200 worth of stolen merchandise in Lambert’s vehicle.
Police credited Victoria’s Secret staff for their awareness, timely notification and the detailed information they provided which helped lead to the successful apprehension of Johnson and Lambert.
