Brentwood: Pet Supply Donations Headed to Texas, More Shipments Planned

Jill Fister at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services in Brentwood announced that 36-boxes were shipped to Rescued Pet Movements in Houston.

Last week, Fister sprung into action starting a pet supplies collection drive for victims in Houston in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

“In total, we had 1800 lbs that was shipped to Houston Texas,” said Fister. “Supplies are still coming in and we will ship again next week.”

Fister says now with Hurricane Irma set to impact Florida, based on the damages, packages will go to either state based on need.

They are looking to send canned and bagged food, leashes, chew toys, chew bones, cat toys, canned food, treats, bedding, crates, ALL things Pets new or very gently used! (Smaller food bags preferred, unopened is mandatory).

All donations should be in by Monday and items will be shipped on Tuesday.
