Brentwood: Man Injured After Vehicle Crashes Down Embankment on Marsh Creek Road

At 4:49 pm Monday, East Contra Costa Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle crash in the 18000 block of Marsh Creek Road just east of Deer Valley Road in Brentwood.

Engine 52 arrived on scene where they confirmed the vehicle was down the embankment and a male patient was injured. A medical helicopter was ordered upon dispatch of the crash, however, Engine 52 crew cancelled the helicopter in favor of ground transport.

No further details were released and the roadway re-opened by 5:30 pm per CHP.
