The Oakley Police Department is reporting that a DUI related crash shut down a portion of Main Street near Rose Ave at approximately 1:18 am Friday.
East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to the scene and reported that a truck had struck two power poles which resulted in one pole being broken and another damaged while the vehicle struck a building.
The driver was transported to a local hospital with significant injuries while Main Street was cordoned off.
The driver, a 24-year-old man out of Brentwood was arrested for suspicion of a DUI.
It is not yet known when Main Street will fully be re-opened.
