Brentwood: Man Arrested After Armed Robbery at Sherwin Williams

BRENTWOOD, CA – On October 2, 2015 at approximately 7 P.M., Brentwood Officers responded to Sherwin Williams, 3111 Balfour Rd., for a report of an armed robbery where cash was taken from a register. Officers responding to the location, observed a vehicle driving in the area that matched the description provided by witnesses.

A traffic enforcement stop was made on the vehicle and Suspect Nikolas Williams was detained and positively identified as the Suspect who committed the robbery.

The missing cash was also recovered during the investigation. Suspect Nikolas Williams, a resident of East Contra Costa County, was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for Robbery.

According to radio traffic, a high risk traffic stop occurred at Sand Creek and Shady Willow where police took three suspects into custody at gunpoint.  Two passengers in the vehicle were not arrested.
