Guess crime doesn’t really matter in Antioch, still grew! Stop building Antioch, Brentwood, Oakley and Pittsburg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well done Brentwood, with all this growth, you are creating an instant ghetto! Slow down!
This is another reason NOT to vote for Steve Barr for the County Supervisors position. I thought we were trying to curb growth. This is happening on Barr’s watch and with his votes.
Brentwood is showing TRIPLE the building in a city that lacks basic services. It’s no wonder he is supported by developers.
Stop the madness.
Do you know how terrible the Heritage HS/Adams Middle School traffic is before and after schools starts?
it’s worst than SR4 and Vasco Road traffic …! voting no to every old politicians in 94513!
Hmmm…. With all this growth in East County that has been going on now for a couple of decades, something doesn’t add up…and we keep getting told by the elitist politicians in other parts of the county there isn’t enough property tax revenue being paid by Brentwood, Discovery Bay, Oakley, and Knightsen to cover the costs of our emergency response needs. Just where is all our money going? Something smells very, very rotten in Contra Costa County!
Mankind is a virus with shoes.
I’m pretty sure the early inhabitants of Easter Island didn’t have any shoes.
And that’s why they’re all dead. Foot protection allowed the human virus to spread from pole to pole. Without shoes there’d be no human history as we know it.
You missed the point. They died because they exhausted all their natural resources, water, and food on and around the island … without wearing shoes. It’s sort of a bad joke….
I knew it was 🙂 I just tend to keep commenting until the thread is dead lol
The city took $20m from the state from redevelopment found for downtown improvement, as was ruled by Judge it has to repay that money to they state, so where all those new housing and developer fees going to go… BUILD BABY BUILD
Thanks Steve Barr. Guess you missed the memo on urban sprawl. Barr is not the guy we want voting on the urban limit line. Oh and guess who paid for all of his sign litter? Developers.
Follow the money.
Steve Barr, almost as bad for CCCounty as Dough Hardcastle or Wade Harper. Just say No!
Maybe Mary, Diane, and cronies should stay in. Mary took 600 acres from ag to rezone storage space. What a farce. There was an abundance of storage available. Mary also denied a benefit assessment funding source for our fire district when approving the last housing development in Discovery Bay. Guess your blind to cronyism, collusion, and special interest obove public safety.
